In our near future, everything is super-efficient and faster than ever. Machines, apps, and devices have taken over many of our tasks, yet society still expects us to work even harder. Senior people, with their slow pace and constant talking, seem out of place in this fast-paced world, and they are all placed on designated senior islands. Neatness is valued. When Jayson and Maud uncover some unsettling truths about the senior island 'Albatros', where their grandparents reside, they decide that the only solution is to 'Escape from Albatros!'

Planet X Title Design was asked to design the leader and art work for this futuristic series.

The design of the leader had to look colourful; at first, Albatros also seemed like a nice place to go. We used colors that also appear in the series, such as pink and turquoise. Additionally, we drew inspiration from classic artwork in futuristic films, where the future appears sunny yet ominous. The typography is based on the titles from "Escape from Alcatraz." We also applied these principles when designing the artwork for the promotional campaign.

We used the pre-renders by our 3D-department as the base for the design and animation.
